All Australian businesses need to build capability and resilience to cyber-attacks no matter their industry sector or size.  Collectively, our mission is to make Australian business a difficult target for cyber criminals, cyber risk resilient and a buoyant market for growth and success.

With 58% of cyber attack victims last year being organisations with fewer than 250 employees, this webinar will focus on small and medium Australian businesses and startups. The session will provide insights from a panel of people who cover a range of perspectives and will go deeper than the buzzwords and theory. Panel members will provide practical guidance on how to build capability and what areas to focus on based on years of experience in what works, what doesn’t and where to get key information and support.

Register now as we explore the following.

  1. What's behind the buzz words and scare tactics? What's really happening with cyber security breaches.
  2. Cyber risk is a persistent business risk that needs to be quantified, mitigated and considered as part of broader strategic and operational practices. It is no longer buried in the depths of IT; moving beyond technology solutions for technology problems.
  3. Cyber resilience is the ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from Cyber incidents. Resilience is more than just preventing or responding to an incident – it also takes into account the ability to operate during an incident, and to effectively incorporate the lessons learnt into ongoing practice.
  4. A holistic people and risk based approach is required, to provide the foundation from which business leaders and employees can make well informed, risk conscious decisions.
  5. Cyber is not a roadblock to innovation and change; it is a partner.
