About Dima Katchalov

Dima has over 18 years in Financial Services with the last 5 years specialising in delivering technology solutions to manage enterprise risk for a major regional financial services organisation.
Dima’s expertise is Financial Crime (AML, Sanctions), Fraud, Regulatory Compliance and Credit Risk technology with experience across the entire technology lifecycle – consulting, strategy and architecture, delivery and operations. He has managed both enterprise-scale, technology-enabled transformation programs and led large, distributed technology delivery/operations teams to provide innovative, cost effective, reliable risk management platforms within the financial services industry.
About Kimberley Whale

A passionate humanitarian, culture and change advocate, Diversity & Inclusion champion and Senior Risk and Compliance Leader with over sixteen years’ legal, professional services, financial services industry and non-government experience spanning Europe, Asia and Asia Pacific; all with major global and Australian organisations including Banks, Insurers, Superannuation, Wealth and Asset Managers, and multi-national NGOs, law firms.
Experience extends from Risk Advisory Consulting professional services working with Boards, C-suites and Senior Management on anti-financial crimes risk and compliance matters including Strategy, Policy and Governance, Culture and Resilience, Risk Appetite and Risk Management Frameworks, Operating Model and Capability, Structured Advisory and Transformation Projects, Independent Review and Remediation efforts through to Regional Financial Crime Compliance Officer roles for leading global banks and State Convener for a global anti-corruption NGO.
Holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Commerce from the University of Sydney, internationally accredited Compliance and Ethics Professional, British Bankers Association MLRO course certified and a Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association, UK.
Occasional speaker at industry events on topics including financial crimes risk and compliance, three lines of defence, resilience building, anti-bribery and corruption. Former New South Wales Convener for Transparency International's Australian Chapter. Panel member for Australian Regulatory RegTech showcase event. Currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Business at Queensland University of Technology majoring in Behavioural Economics, Behavioural Finance, Organisational Behaviour and Consumer Behaviour. Qualified Yoga Teacher.
